1. The 1990s

The 1990s was a period of diverse musical styles. Pick one and research in depth the characteristics, artists and culture that accompanied the genre. Create a mind map or other data visualization tool with your results showing the histories and tendencies, the major artists and their contribution to the genre and any other information you find relevant.

2. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Pick your favorite artist who may or may not be inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Write a report about this artist’s major contributions to rock and roll and tell us why the artist should be included. Justify your selection with facts.

3. The Grammy Awards

Select an award and the performer, individual or group, who deserves the award for the next Annual Grammy Awards. You can choose any category and field but you must substantiate your nomination with enough evidence to convince others that your nomination should win. Justify your nomination with a short summary of your reasons. If you prefer, you can make the case for a performer or group who wasn’t nominated in the most recent past Grammy Awards and explain why they should have won!
